Join us at Seattle Center in the Creative Commons!

Join the Giant Puppets Save the World crew and the Fremont Arts Council in the Creative Commons this coming weekend at the Folk Life Festival at the Seattle Center. Here’s what we’ll be working on with the public, ages 3-103:

– Test run the original design for the Flying Cedar Waxwings in the Giant Puppets Save the World Parade Ensemble.

– Create a hand-dyed silk flowers with a tying  method that produces a rose to be featured in the parade on a float.

– Put together the pieces to build a 12′ tall Tree of Life Deity to be featured in the Fremont Arts Council Solstice Parade on June 18th!
